This was my first time going there. Not sure I'll ever go back. It was just okay. Definitely nothing to write home about. I had the steak sandwich which you had to really look for the cheese on it. Wasn't very tasty. My daughter had a pasta special, which she said was pretty tasty. The server's were quite snippy and not friendly at all. The one cook kept walking around the dining room and was very dirty looking. And both of the cooks had somewhat long hair for a food establishment and neither had on a hair net or such. And I didn't see either of them put on a pair of gloves. And this place isn't cheap. I thought it was rather pricy for what you get. So it's pretty doubtful I'll be back.

The appetizers were very good, the Greens and Beans were delicious and a huge portion. The warm bread loaf and dipping sauce are great.The Scioligo was fantastic, best I've had in a long time. I prefer the red. It was a bit pricey for the dinner specials, but they are a large portion and I would recommend and definitely go back.

We were there at 4:00.when they opened. We had a very nice server. I ordered a meatball sandwich. The Sandwich had barely warm sauce, no cheese, the meatballs were cold inside and too much breading in the meat! I only ate 1 meatball and no take home bag for me! My husband ordered hot sausage, again no cheese and way too many peppers & onions to "fill the gap"! The others in the group ordered dinners and they seemed satisfied! I guess we will try dinner some time!

My husband and I LOVE this little place! The all the employees and the atmosphere are warm and welcoming!! Everything on the menu is DELICIOUS! We are NEVER disappointed with the specials! The seafood is my Favorite! I have been living in Pittsburgh for 9 yrs now and they are still our NUMBER ONE!! Thank you Sarafino's!!
