I'd actually give this Planet Fitness 4+ stars--it's very good. Nothing fancy, but that's the nature of Planet Fitness. It gets the job done at a great price--a price that's enormously less than the competition. The staff is very good, and I'd especially praise Julio, who is unusually friendly, helpful, and responsive. I've brought a couple of problems to his attention, and he's taken care of them immediately and effectively.

The gym itself is okay. Initial price and people are friendly enough. Parking isn't the best. Maybe once or twice did they run out of towels and/or cleaning spray while I was there. Good amount of machines seem to always break down and there's a lot of people, but it's kind of expected for the busy area. My biggest issue with this gym is it's predatory business practices. They shouldn't be allowed to charge twice from two different bank accounts for months. I didn't authorize it. I had disputed and canceled the charges from both my banks and still got charged. How's that possible? Beware when you use your cards for purchases. Tried to cancel my membership and they told me I couldn't until I paid $10 for this month. Not possible. I'm in the negative now, thanks. Guess I won't ever be going back.

Other gyms can't compete. The cost is very affordable and they have all the exercise equipment and weights you need! They also keep the place spotless and get new machines every 2-3 years.

PF Alhambra is a tidy, affordable gym with neat lockers, clean showers, huge parking lot, free pizza and tootsie roll. LoL. Gym has a max capacity of 481. Staff (Mark, Tony, Ursula, and co.) are competent, friendly and professional. They should be given a raise! Because they are always dependable. PF is without flaws, one of the things I abhor is when machines are out of service, artic blasting A/C on the far back end and the crowded peak hours (M-W; 6pm), however, not as terrible compared to PF Mid-town Olympic blvd branch.The gym goers are friendly, nice and respectful. Similarly, there are good looking fit women in this gym which kinda motivating. Overall, I highly recommend this gym. I suggest they add more new machines and/or install a wall pull-up bars like most gym do. UPDATE 05/2019: Far back end A/C is now temp regulated...Not Freezing❄ cold. Alas, the PF owner added new workout machines such as 2 rowing machines, monkey/parellel bars, medicine balls, ropes, and kettlebells. Now I'm satisfied! UPDATE: 12/2021: Still satisfied with staff and crew. They clean the gym on a regular basis. They updated the treadmills to a better and fancier machines. Also, they added Bosu balls.

It might be 14 to 16 with a parent present and then 16 to 18 can get a membership with a parents permission But it may have changed. Last time I checked (with a manager) Was 3 years ago and that’s what I was told.

Some clubs accept Silver Sneakers and some do not. The best option is to ask your home club staff. No, they don't. Your better off going to YMCA in Alhambra. They have a pool, gym and take Silver Sneakers.
It's ten dollars a month and a one time charge of 27 every April unless you upgrade, then it's 20 a month with more privelages
