We got the sweetest puppy the people at the SHAR are wonderful helpful and caring. Compared to some of the rescues I was dealing with during our new puppy search.

Great place! Friendly helpful people and they check everyone out to make sure the pets go to a good home. It only took a couple days and they gave me a kennel at a great price and they gave me a great collar , harness and even a leash because I forgot to buy one. They are a great place if your looking to adopt! *update- duke is 4 today! And can’t imagine my life different than adopting this mutt

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. When I inquired about a puppy and told them I am a hour away they told me they won't adopt that far away. I would be the one paying for the gas to pick up the dog not them.
