Service. It's all about the service and making a connection. A small connection, eye contact, even a head-bob gesture or grunt are notable in this era of 'customer disservice'. I, like a thousand times before, stopped for gas. This Chevron 'gas jockey' (I hope that's not pejorative) washed my window AND had a conversation with me...a full conversation. Not a 'real world' equivalent of emojis and acronyms. Thank you sir, my day saved.
