I can't believe the 5 star reviews, however that may speak to how well they treat customers rather than what they offer--nothing. I hate to be negative but I went in today 6/29/21 and the shelves and racks where empty. Covid sales, who knows? One thing that points to the contrary though is the dated crusted up plastics and hooks that they still have in stock. By dated I mean around 10 year old plastics btw. Hopefully this shop can have a comeback year.

5 start. Why? Well this place is amazing they have everything you need and more but the most important to me bc I'm learning how to fish, is Katy!! she is awesome I had a lot of help and she is passionate how to explain any of my question... thank you so much. Definitely I'll come back always.

The best tackle shop in Orange County owned and operated by a owner/operator of a top San Diego charter boat, Mustang. Taka, his wife, Katie, and his son, Steve, provide top-level service and talk to you about your fishing needs and then advise you on what the best options are whether salt or fresh water. They don't merely sell you stuff that you don't need. Reel servicing and repair is done the right way and at a competitive price, so I don't service my own reels anymore, since I can have a "pro" do it for me. Taka's Tackle s a totally customer oriented place to shop for fishing equipment and get good advise.
