We have followed them for a long time. They save so many Huskies We fostered Sassy and that day we knew she was special. She was going to be euthanized had Tim not come along. Tim, his wonderful wife, and his volunteers are the best I have ever seen. If you can donate to help, please do.

Shadow Husky Rescue is a wonderful, compassionate, caring organization. We adopted our boy, Bear, from SHR a few years ago and loved what they do so much that we have been volunteering ever since! Shadow Husky Rescue pulls huskies from the pound before they are to be euthanized. This organization goes above and beyond to give these dogs a second chance at life they deserve. I highly recommend them and have adopted 2 gorgeous huskies from them already!

Thank goodness Tim is around to save these beautiful Huskies. I pledge often to help save many dogs that is so passionate about saving. He doesn't just take the healthy beautiful ones either which really makes me happy that the hard to adopt ones are also getting a chance to heal and get treatment for a loving home. He helped me save a husky from the Baldwin Park Shelter at the last minute to save his life and I'm still fostering that cutie. Thank you Tim for all of the hard work you and your team does day in and day out!

Hi Denise, some huskies do like to chase after birds. Many do not get along with cats or other small animals. Most of the huskies we come across have not been tested with cats So it’s hard to tell. If you would like to complete our adopt application we will keep your contact information in case we do find a cat friendly husky.
