I used to love this place as a kid, we bought so many geckos and lizards here. I came back to visit 10 years later and was so excited to bring my little boy to a place that was so special to me and I'd spend hours enjoying and learning about the animals. Unfortunately, they have made a large portion of the reptiles part of a pay-to-access zoo area and the prices are really steep $15 per person. I was so bummed to not show my little boy everything but it was too much with my whole family to go. He had fun feeding the turtles and seeing what we could. I wish it was a bit more reasonable to go see the other animals.

Awesome reptile zoo. Lots of different species to see and we spent about 2 hours there in total. The add-ons (interactive show, photos, or feedings) are fairly priced and a worthwhile experience. Staff and the owner, Jay, are super friendly. Would visit again.

I loved it here. Definitely will be back! My step daughter loved it. We got over our fears of snakes too ♥️

Very cool place and experience! For an additional fee you can have different reptile encounters. We would definitely go back.

Yes and you would have so much fun taking pictures with live snake and spiders
They have limited amount of snakes. They sell all the babies from the snakes they own so you would have to call and see what they have.
I really enjoyed going it's worth the price it's a very educational place for kids it's a great family place
Call them
When i was there they said they were working on it
Yes. Is it a red eared slider? Aquatic? Bring it to the pet store side and they will assess it. I work there. Ellen is my name. Thank you for rescuing it! :)
I believe Jay owns the zoo, but I don't know how long they have been there.
As long as you want. I didn't have anyone telling me I had certain time. And there's a lot of different animals so you can take your time.
You need to be at least 16 years old to work there.
I would guess up to 300 plus are hatched a year and the price range can go as high as 20000 Alot of people bring them in as they grow However we send snakes worldwide
I don't know about all but they sell them in there store.
Yes some of them, u can also feed them. Its a fun place my kids loved the place
Check the website
On Nov. 2019 they posted temporarily closed for construction to expand. Here on this sight it notes CLOSED for today. Sorry.
Kids under 4 years old are free. 4 yrs to 12 yr olds are 8 dollars. 12 year olds and above is 10 dollars. This place is worth checking out
Nope, for all ages. It's pretty nice. I definitely recommend it
I believe they are open Monday through Sunday year round except major holidays
They still have Kipling and you can see her if you pay to visit the Zoo portion.
As many times as I've been to the Reptile House only once did I ever see someone take one in. I believe they did fir care. Your best bet is to call and dbl check. Don't want anyone driving that far out and not be able to enjoy at least 1-2 hrs in there. They expanded it so it looks very nice now 😊🐲
They do take in animals but it is best if your friend tries to rehome his pets first because he won't get them back once they take the dragons in
You can look around the shop for free and take pictures...you can pay and feed the turtles and giant turtles too. If you want to go in that's also a separate price roughly around $10.00 for adults and like $8.00 for little kids. My kids are 13 and 15 and they paid $10.00 each.
Not to the shop but to enter the back and see the zoo you have to pay
$12 however groupon always has some good offers for this zoo with a free photograph with a boa
Our living giftshop Prehistoric Pets carries a variety of fantastic starter pet reptiles, including Russian Tortoises, plus their supplies and feed.
Mostly reptiles, such as snakes and lizards, you can also buy freshkill or live rats to feed snakes.
Yes, you can feed them. The cost is about 3$.
Not sure but I believe they sell the terrapin type turtles
As of 11/2017 They are going through renovations so prices are marked down. It shows regular price and markdown price during their expansion.
