Awesome establishment. I'm a private security professional, for over 21 years, and like to "pop in" every now and again to see what new lines of gear they have for sale. I normally shop at Galls at the other end of Riverside, since the difference between the two stores is Galls carries more in the line of professional law enforcement gear, while 5.11 carries what I would call "civilian tactical". But I like that they each carry something different, certainly as far as apparel. Upon inquiry, I did find out something recently from the associate working in the store that I had questions on, and was unaware of, until now. I noticed that their product lines, specifically, tactical pants, were different. I found out that certain lines of product are sold by 5.11 to different law enforcement/fire/public safety establishments that sell the 5.11 "brand", which helps sell the product, and makes the sale unique to that particular establishment. That's why the tactical pants that I normally buy at Galls, I could not find here. But 5.11 still has pants that are useful. I've bought 4 pairs of "Icon" pants, at $80.00 a pop, because of the quality of 5.11 gear. The 6 pair of 5.11 TDU pants I bought from Galls, that I'm still wearing, I bought 6 or 7 YEARS ago. YEARS. And, aside from fading (black), they are still being worn, with no stitching separations or any damage/wear. I'm going to assume that the "Icon" pants I've recently bought, will last just as long. Only detraction: The gear is somewhat pricey, but the quality of the product certainly makes up for it. The TDUs I buy are generally $55.00 (here, and Galls), and I've already stated the price of the "Icon" line of pants.

Just found out about this location. Very clean, good staff, and a wide range of products. Typical 5.11 prices, so there should be no surprise there. However, they also sell Qalo, Hydro flask and Black Rifle Coffee so to me that is a plus.
