Do not go to this place. The place is extremely unprofessional, unpleasant and poor conditions. Food was an issue for the amount of money that is paid, I was told to use Amazon direct. There are numerous health code violations. I was in this program for three months. In the three months I was told I would have therapy sessions, psychology sessions and counseling. I received two therapy sessions and 1 psychology session. There was some counseling. This counseling was nothing special apart from going to an AA meeting. The staff at the houses are former addicts not equipped to deal with mental health or drug addiction with no formal training or certification. I was told I would receive a letter of completion so I could present it as a form of good merit even though I was not mandated to this program. I did not receive any letter. I was placed in three different houses throughout my stay. I was shuffled around in order for them to clear space. This place is understaffed due to covid. While I lived in one of the houses the cook for the facility moved in because he was homeless. He was discovered sleeping in a uhaul and taking showers in a residential house. This cook was also caught using alcohol on company time and property. If you care for your loved ones please do not send them here. This place is here to drain your wallet and insurance. Highly negligent. Please do not give them your time or money. It will be a waste of time and hard earned money. They are not here to help but to use and and take from you. If you have any questions please reach out. I was told the by Doctor that i need to stay longer than three months even though it was important for me to go back to my career with the Navy. I was yelled at and told that I should stay longer and if money is a problem that i should get a job while I stay. I came here to help progress my life and career. This is way out of line on every level. Thank you V/R

Pacific Bay Recovery and the staff there worked together to help me identify areas of my life that played a direct role in my relapses. They actually took the time to listen and provided me actual support vs having me sit day in and day out through 12 step meetings like some of the other places I've been to. Life isn't perfect, but I am sober, and I get to still participate in some of the outpatient stuff and alumni activities. It's a great community, and the best support I have had access to in a long time. I'm grateful for Pacific Bay. I'm grateful for my sobriety.

Pacific Bay Recovery filled a critical need we had with a family member who needed care. They were responsive, set clear goals and provided the care and compassion that we hoped for. They also worked with the family to set a admission and discharge schedule that met our needs. Well done guys and thank you.

Pacific Bay has helped me tremendously to find inner peace, balance, and happiness in my recovery from addiction to drugs. The staff are very knowledgable, professional, and helpful. The groups are engaging, interesting, and fun. This is an environment that encourages me to live my best life. I highly recommend Pacific Bay Recovery. I have achieved over 2 years clean and sober and still look forward to attending outpatient a couple days a week.

Is this CO ed

Sara Bryant | Aug 22, 2019
Chris Howe | May 23, 2022

Yes it it . The owner who medical kicense is revoked for the next few years states this facility has gender specific houses. This is inaccurate. I was placed in a female house when I arrived. They do not value privacy of male and female patients with gender specific houses. Do not trust a word the comes out of there mouth. They are being investigated currently. Please do not send or admit yourself to this facility. It is my job and intent to bring the truth of this place to light and to have it shut down. Please research Doctor Micheal S. Duffy D.O. originally from Missouri. He was being investigated and brought up for malpractice there and moved to California. Please do your research 🙏. God Bless and be safe.
