This place was absolutely amazing. I'd first heard about it through Reddit and knew I had to go. My wife and I went for our anniversary and the reservations took way shorter than want we had anticipated and were able to get in within a couple weeks. When we arrived we saw the amazing iron gate and the beautiful glass "h" and were greeted warmly by a host letting us know they were expecting us. Cocktail hour was very fun and we were able to tour the ample wine cellar and return to our table where our delicious cocktails were waiting for us. The pre fixe menu started promptly and we were treated to a plate of hors d'oeuvres and a glass of champagne. The service of the hors d'oeuvres was nice as we were much more likely to try all of them as opposed to sticking to recognizable ones as we might have if they were self serve. The fish course was a wonderful scallop, and the fowl was an absolutely beautiful seared duck breast. After that there was an intermission where we got to walk around and have wine on the patio. We returned from intermission to a nice sorbet to cleanse our palates. The main course of roasted lamb was next and I have to say it was the best lamb I've ever had. The apple tart dessert was just as amazing as everything else and I had a wonderful hot chocolate to close it off. In honor of our anniversary they even gave us their "Hobbit love potion" to celebrate. All in all this was one of the best meals of our lives and for a very reasonable price. The decor was very quaint and homey and the service was impeccable. Everyone should go and have a nice night here. We can't wait to go again for a different menu.

Absolutely amazing. This was well worth the cost and the wait (I made the reservation months ahead to make sure I could get in when a friend was visiting from out of town). The food was amazing, everyone cleaned every place, the wine cellar is an amazing experience and we really enjoyed the wine we choose. Only wish we had gotten a little more information about each course we were eating, but overall this was just a great experience and I'd love to have the opportunity to go again.

Elegant dinner experience. The food was excellent and beautifully done. There are 5 courses or bust, so come hungry. The wait staff were all very friendly and informative. There's also a wine cellar you can walk around and oogle at the selection or buy for your table! Listen, it's not called The Hobbit for nothing. If you're familiar with the story, Hobbit's have multiple meals in a day. I, personally, felt as though each course was 1st dinner, second dinner, supper, and so on. Be prepared to stay awhile too, there's an actual intercession. My party and I loved it so much we vowed to come every menu change, every 3 months or so. Loved IT!

When you have so many missed things to celebrate, The Hobbit is a must. Impeccable service. I literally use their service as my benchmark for fantastic service. The food is delicious. Multiple courses of wonderful things. We do miss the pre-covid hors d'oeuvres hour, but the sample plate is good too and quite frankly easier to eat while drinking that tasty Hobbit champagne. It is always a great time to sit and enjoy each other's company for a few hours in the evening. Can't wait until our next dinner there. Thank you for continuing to be so wonderful!

I went and my girlfriend has a diary allergy. Just send an email or talk to them at time of reservation. They accommodated and made things without butter.
Yes you can, but i believe it is a 2 bottle limit.
It is up to you if you wish to order cocktails or wine. The six course prix fixe dinner is $96.00 per person, tax and gratuity additional. Any beverages, cocktails or wine are not included and would be added to your dinner tab. We always have sparkling water and apple cider available for the hors d'oeuvres portion of the dinner.
We have done rehearsal and wedding dinners. We are too small of a venue to be able to do an actually ceremony.
Adults only. However, you can call and perhaps the restaurant can arrange something, but truth is best if the children stay with the sitter.
June 5 will be our first day.
They do not have valet parking. However, there is very limited seating at the restaurant and the adjacent parking lot has more than enough parking to accommodate everyone. Parking is not a problem.
Dress like you are attending a fancy cocktail party. Dress slacks, a collared dress shirt that buttons down the front. Most gentlemen will wear a jacket and a tie. What is NOT allowed: no denim jeans for anyone, no shorts, tennis shoes or flip flops.
We do not mail gift certificates. If you are unable to make and appointment at the restaurant, you can purchase a gift certificate through our website.
Our 7 course prix fixe dinner is $92.00 per person, tax and gratuity additional. Beverages, cocktails or wine you may order is added onto your dinner tab.
Its definitely a meal for a special occasion. Its not cheap but theres a lot of value to the experience they provide.
Yes they will accommodate gluten free but you have to ask when you make your reservation
