Food great. Long wait. Would be more relaxing if they had a pager system for those waiting for a table instead of a multi paper and pen checklist and hostess walking through bar area calling. smith? smith? smith? Easy to miss in a loud bar.

I purchased three fish and chip dinners @ $16.00 each, this is what I got. This pick happens to be the best looking out of the three dinners. I use to love this place. I'm saddened that a restaurant, will actually sell this and call it a dinner.

Atmosphere is pretty cool, old pub meets bar! The food was FANTASTIC!! Fish and chips, fish was very flaky and moist. Filets were pretty big and fried perfectly! Shrimp Po'Boy, daugher said was amazing. Kids chicken tenders were huge and tots were devoured by the little one. The fried pickles......omg the fried pickles.... the spears are battered and fried crisp! The pickles are still crisp on the inside and garlicky.. FREAKIN AMAZING lol. Will definitely be back!

1st time trying this place out, it's a nice spot, very spacious inside, plenty of tv's everywhere. This was the fish meal, 2 nice pieces of fish & steak fries for 14$ . The fish tasted great, nice size and the fries were cooked perfectly.

"I battered my first fish when I was ten, and my first pickle when I was twelve. I know what I'm doing. I have my great-Uncle Gaylord's famous pub food recipes, and I also have his name. Believe me, I've had a much tougher time getting through life with this name than he did. I called my pub "The Old Bag of Nails" because the first one was in an empty hardware store. My great-uncle Gaylord called his pub "The Cauliflower Blowfish" and I don't have the foggiest notion why. And every day people stop by for great food, great spirits and an occasional hammer. Eat. Drink. Enjoy yourself. I sure do. Gaylord Wirrick

so what is the right way to get a to go order when you walk in and all the bar stools are full? I sat on one of the stools within the bar area and waited for someone to ask me about ordering, but no one did,so after 15 min, I left.

I suggest getting someone's attention and letting them know that you would like to place a to-go order.
