This location is only open for those filing for marriage licenses, otherwise they request that you file online. Unfortunately, many of the particular services this office conducts, must be signed with wet ink, and cannot be done online. I couldn't even get the necessary documents from the location and was told you can get them online (you cannot). I understand that there is a pandemic and that precautions are absolutely necessary to protect staff as well as everyone else. But, if it is possible to make an appointment for a marriage license, then it should be possible make and enforce appointments for other documents that cannot be directly filed online.

Not your typical government office. These people treat you like a person they want to help. I never waited longer then 10 mins the 3 times I have been.

You do not need to make an appointment to get a copy of your marriage certificate. They do accept walk-ins, however as of now the only office open is off Pacific Highway in San Diego. Their normal hours are 8am-4:30pm.
Yes they are open but have long line
Sorry, no. All licenses and ceremonies are done by appointment only. Www.sdarcc.com.
Yes if your marriage license was done in San Diego County.
Yes
Yes, make payment out to San Diego recorder/clerk. Mail form to San Diego county assessor/recorder/clerk Attn: death records PO box 121750 San diego, CA 92112
Typically 8 weeks or for them to take care of the amendment .
Yes
Not long. Within 30 minutes or less. They print it right there. As long as it's a birth certificate or death certificate in the county
They have the tax collection area on the right hand side when you walk in. I would call first to double check especially if they need documents or anything. Or you can pay online at https://www.sdttc.com
Best thing is to make sure an attorney puts it in a living trust so there won't be probate. Quick alternative is to speak with the workers at the recorder's office and see if you should put the recipient on title with you.
Go to the san diego county clerks website and search for how to get a birth certificate. Or go to the local county clerks office and ask.
Call DMV or AAA
