Free curated clean accessible outdoor archery course- wow what a gift. The members take great care of the range and consider contributing or being a paying member to support it. Members consistently are impromptu teachers. Fantastic. Picnic tables, portopotty, water spout, hiking trail and more. Don’t come to play music or party- you’ll get booted out in 2 seconds. Come to watch, hike or shoot. Dogs on lease is ok.

Black Mountain bowmen archery range is awesome rarely crowded and always a Target to shoot at. Met some really cool people there my first and 2nd time if you're in the area definitely would recommend stopping by and don't forget to leave a donation if you can in the gold Box by the entrance. If you do go bring your own equipment you cannot rent equipment at this range

Beautiful park! Some parts of the trail are very narrow. A decent amount of shade. Watch out for bicyclists because the trails are narrow and they get a lot of speed on the trails.
