The only thing good about this restaurant is the food. You can't dine in, so you have to order ahead. They say 20 minutes; what they really mean is an hour. When I mentioned to the children (at a guess, they are somewhere between 16-and 19 years old) behind the counter that telling someone 20 minutes and making them stand around for another 30-40 minutes to get their food is not good customer service, they argued with me, telling me it was really fine to do that. When I pointed out they were violating the first rule of customer service -- "The customer is always right." -- they said, and I do quote: "That's not really a thing anymore." Well, to the children behind the counter I say, this is one customer who is done waiting for her dinner. I drove two hours to get dinner, and then had to wait another thirty minutes before I could get in my car and take it home. This is the fourth time in a row, we have had to wait the extra half hour or more for dinner. I'm done. Not only are you not able to serve food timely, your staff is ignorant and rude. I'm going to the place across the street. Haven't tried it before, but I know I'm never going to Mashita again.

We liked our food but we've had better. The service was friendly and our order came out pretty quickly. The yakisoba had a different sauce than we're used to.

I went expecting no more than a run of the mill teriyaki meal. I was more than pleasantly surprised. The meal was excellent, both the Teriyaki Pork, and Teriyaki Chicken were done very well. The chicken was juicy, and the pork was flavorful, and just blackened on the edge providing a flavorful texture to the meal. The meat was served over the rice, which was odd, but made for a great presentation. The salad was also very good with a sesame ginger dressing that was much better than the one normal dressing that seems mayo based. I will certainly eat there again if I am in the area.
