07062022 Remodel has been complete for a while. Layout has changed a bit (i.e. aisles moved around so some items may not be where a customer is used to them being) and aisles are named after Livermore streets I think. No masks or proof of vaccination required to enter, though there are some customers and some staff who wear a mask inside. Prices are higher now, they say due to inflation but who really knows at this point. Shelves, recently, have been well stocked. *** Always an easy in and out. Rare something I need is out. Store is always clean. Employees are friendly and helpful. Great thing is, this location is open 24hrs on the odd occasion I have to stop by early in the morning.

The one down town sucks the .a management and employees think that they are better than and their attitude sucks., But the other Safeway the one closer to Springtown is excellent in everyway! the conduct and their service is great! The assistant manager and employess are so nice professional helpful and they have a far better selection of food way better deli and checkers. Ran great!

Many thanks to a young white guy named Mathew! I need to buy non-fat organic milk ( doesn't matter which brand ), he tried many times. Unfortunately, the only one with one gallon size is going to be expired on March 16 and I can't finish one gallon in 6 days. However, Mathew kept back and forth for many times and he did his best to help customers. I hope that the store manager can say thanks for me to him. Safeway is always the best place to shop groceries. However, this Safeway store is too popular and everybody came to here for shopping, it happened several times that non-fat milk, non-fat soy milk etc. sold out last half an year probably due to high demand and supply chain problem etc.

This Safeway is massive. It's like a super Safeway. Deli department is super sized. We don't have this size in Sacramento. they had almost every line open. But in a smart way to accommodate us so they lines would not fill up. I was in the area for another week, and I wanted to update my overall experience after several trips. My overall feeling is that it's 3.5 My first day, a lead or Maybe even supervisor was very rude. She walked in the deli department. Our interaction was brief. I was walking with a cart. About 10 am through the deli. There was a cart with a scanner in it. Left in the path way close to the deli glass, it was a very busy area. I heard this loud lady telling employees things to do. I just moved the cart. She said " oh sorry." I was indifferent. I just made room. I move over to scan the coffin cooler and she walks by me giving me a dirty look for moving her cart. Literally staring me in the eyes and turning her neck as she walked by. I'm a guy. And you're a lady looking at me like you're gonna fight me.👍🤔 " I'm so sorry, did I ruin your day, ? Are you a Control freak? If me moving your cart that you carelessly left literally in the way, ruined your day , then I hope it did. I hope so. The deli food is inconsistent unfortunately. The chicken pieces I bought were awesome. Moist. Flavorful. The salads are great. With tons of ingredients besides lettuce. The ribs on the other hand were amung the worst I've ever tried. I've had bad ribs. These though... I threw away the entire rack . That was about 17 bucks wasted. I tried to eat them but. No. Tons of fat. Chewy and tough. I couldn't cut through them consistently. Just garbage. The salads are huge and you do have plenty of ready to eat salad kits. My only complaint about them is the dressing packets are on the bottom inside the salad. So you have to open it upside down... And risk spilling some salad all out.. not very well thought out
