I've been to many hotels throughout my life and have never had any real problems with one until now. I booked a room after doing a Google search for pet friendly hotels and finding Quality Inn on the list. After driving two hours I arrived to check in to the hotel only to be told they didn't allow pets. The man at the front desk was extremely rude. He said I should have called to make sure pets were allowed. Why would I when it clearly says online that they are? Then he said Priceline.com was at fault for not having the correct information. Um, no. It is the responsibility of the business to make sure third party sites have the correct information. He then said if they saw me with a pet they would charge my credit card a $250 penalty fee. So here I was. Stranded in Ashland for a wedding with no room and hotels were booked up for a hot air balloon festival. All because this hotel couldn't be responsible and professional enough to make sure their information was current. I can't stress this enough, if you're going to be staying in Ashland do not do business with this hotel.

New owners have took over this hotel, and they have definitely amped this place up. Clean and comfy rooms along with great breakfast and service. Will surely come back again! Overall, great experience at Quality Inn.

Looked like someone else had slept in the bed. All of the bedding was wrinkled, the pillow was crumpled up in a ball and just thrown on the bed, the bed stand was pulled out of the wall, paint was peeling in bathroom wall, and customer service was not good. However, in the past the front desk people have been very nice. Don’t know what’s up with the place now. Oh and I forgot to mention the pool area is very run down and doesn’t look like it has been cleaned in a year, not to mention the hot tub doesn’t work.

The staff was extremely polite, friendly, and courteous. The room was clean, yet there was a stale odor to the place. Although the bed was comfortable, there were stains on the room chair which kept me from sitting there. The shower was adequate. Although the bathroom was small, consisting of a shower and toilet, there is a small sink with low water pressure in the room. There is an indoor pool on the premises, and they serve a hot breakfast consisting of eggs, sausage, bacon, pastries, and juice. The WiFi works great. Overall, this is a no-frills hotel designed for people who are just looking for a place to sleep overnight and be on their way the next day. The amenities provided are good enough, but don't expect anything resembling luxury. Perhaps the chain is designed for just that.
