I have scheduled a viewing for a new place in Spokane and I had gotten an email saying my viewing has been canceled FOR NO REASON!!!! I called and sent emails and no response. This is not worth my time the sad part is I really loved the home. I do not understand why advertise if there will be NO response.

Literally the worst management. I’ve called EVERYDAY for months to cancel my lease. Finally got ahold of someone after I emailed them multiple times. Come to turning in keys and no one is in the office when business hours are open I drive there and called and knocked and no answer. Now I am currently waiting for my deposit back that they supposedly mailed a week ago and it’s STILL not here and they’re office is 5 minutes away from my new address. I’m so fed up with the NO COMMUNICATION. I want my money and that’s it. Plus they’re sooo rude. And inconsiderate.

We rented from this company for a year, we are very clean people and have received a full deposits from previous companies we rented from. This company does not like to give a full deposit back, they reach for reasons to charge you such as, replacing light switch covers. We spent several hours cleaning the apartment when we left and went as far as doing the self clean on the oven, they hired a cleaning crew and that amount was deducted from our deposit. While renting, they aren’t always the quickest to respond to issues. I don’t recommend renting from Homeland. There are more professional property management companies out there.

At first I was really nervous from going from a private landlord rental situation to having to work with a property management company but I have been pleasantly surprised. Homeland offers home ownership classes which makes me feel like they care about the future of their tenants and don't expect people to stay in a rental situation forever. They are professional but also treat you like a person not just a paycheck. They are quick to fix any maintenance issues and work around your schedule and respect your privacy. I would recommend them to my family and friends.
