I have been to the Iron Horse in CDA since the 80s. However I got the worst service. I was on the bar side. Had to go to the bar on a Saturday afternoon in order to get a drink. I also asked for a menu at the bar. Nobody ever came to take our order, was with my wife. It really was disappointing to not get our order taken. We left and won't come back

Was visiting from San Diego and decided to have lunch here. Waitress was just ok, not welcoming and friendly at all. The worst part was the fact that my Cadillac Margarita was $26!!!!!! I did ask for Patron and an extra shot thinking at most it would be $20 or so. When the bill came, I was 😵‍💫😵! REALLY???? I live in Mexican food central(San Diego) and have been to some of the best Margarita spots around......None....NONE ever cost $26! To boot, the drink was watered down, and I KNOW they did not put an extra shot in as ordered. I was so excited to have lunch here, and now I will never recommend it to ANYONE, left a bad memory, sad to say.

Definitely go during the evening for a great time. If you have Bryce behind the bar it’s absolutely guaranteed. However, some of the daytime staff can complicated the night. There have been incidents of certain staff being day drunk while off duty that historically is combative with locals and bar goers or too drunk to stand being at the establishment. Especially when their significant others get into physical altercations at the bar with no general consequences or action followed.

Very casual atmosphere.. Had the Ultimate Grilled Cheese and I have no regrets! The sirloin was great as well. Totally recommend. Laura was awesome; very personable and knowledgeable.
