The staff was Great. But I do not like the way they run it. It need to go back to walk in only and appointment for new vehicle to be looked . It totally stick how long u have to stand in line and wait. Or if u come down at 11 am and try to walk in you can they aren't taking any more people.

So fast and friendly. I waited no more than 10 min. Coming from L.A. where the waits are 90 min on a good day, this dmv is a joy.

It takes WAY to long waiting for your turn. Debbie at window 8 did AN OUTSTANDING JOB!! One lady came in and got taken care of without signing in. Up set those of us in the cue for 70+ minutrs. Here MORE workers, or do a better job waiting on those sitting in front of you.

Using the QLess system worked great. I put myself on the queue first thing in the morning and heading to the location when I was 5th in line. Total time spent at the location was 30 minutes.

When you renewed the computer must've recognized that you've had your plates for 10yrs. Or by the time of the end of the new reg the plates would hit the 10yr mark
I want to register my car need appointment
At the very least, your driver's license, and proof of insurance. If it's a private party sale, bring the title signed by the seller and a bill of sale signed by both parties (you can print one from the county website, form# ITD3738). If it's a dealer sale, the dealer and bank can give you the forms you need, but they typically do it for you.
Open the queless app or call them.
The title and trust documents. Make sure you either bring the vehicle in or have a member of law enforcement do a VIN inspection
The plate belongs to you, I don't believe you need to turn it in. I'm fairly certain you could register it on your next vehicle.
I got there around 8AM, and waited outside, and they were taking people in between the appointments. It took about 45 minutes and I registered my motorcycle and got new plates. They were pretty helpful.
You need to call amd make an appointment
I believe so. The reservation is only for a spot in the line. I don't think you need to specify what the reservation is for. But it's been a while since I used their app.
No. The title has a section to register a lien holder. Fill out that section adding yourself as a lien holder and then let the buyer register title in his name. If you keep title in your name, you'll be partially liable if the buyer gets into an accident. Plus, bill of sales don't work too register title... Only signed title.
Just the Illinois registration/title document and proof of Idaho residency. And bring cash or check.
how do i get a change of address on my drivers license?
They accept card or cash, they stop taking walk-ins after like 4pm, they close at 5pm.
It would be best.
To my knowledge no
Do I have to take a written test to change from washington driver license to an Idaho license?
Just come into the dmv and they will correct it for you. Bring in the title of course. Make sure to download the Qless app and make an appointment. Far less waiting that way for you.
