Seems to be an issue with the driving range half the days of the week during the afternoon. I work full time so I have a small window to be able to practice in the afternoon from 4-6ish. It’s the only outdoor public range within 50 miles and they’re constantly out of range balls. Just looking to practice and sharpen my game but it’s impossible here on a consistent basis.

As a novice golfer from out of town I really enjoyed playing a quick 9 at Veterans. The course is definitely not too difficult, the pace was not too aggressive and everyone seemed generally friendly and easy-going. The clubs we rented were pretty beat up but they worked fine. The course is in ok shape but for the price it's hard to complain. Also it's a walkable from downtown! Would definitely return.

Was a decent course, greens were nice but super flat. Sand was more like dirt and if you were out of a fairway it wasn't the most pleasant. Definitely got the vibe as a non-regular that we weren't welcome. There is no marshal ... and you can easily get behind a group that won't let you play through (like we did...it took us 2hrs 30min on the back 9)
