The food was average (salmon taco, brisket taco, cheeseburger, pulled pork sandwich), but we loved the atmosphere, the décor, and the live band that performed the evening that we were there. The customer service was very good as well. Overall, we had a very good experience.

Awesome food and great service! We called ahead because we were bringing 19 people, including children. They said they don't take reservations but if we warn they can arrange tables. Called 15 minutes before leaving Kellogg. When we arrived it was an interesting view that I posted below, definite it's own aesthetic. They had our tables ready and Katrina was ready to help us. They gave us our menus, took our orders and brought us our drinks. Some of our party tried the Moose Drool which is a dark stout, and they enjoyed it very much. Some of us ordered fish and chips which they enjoyed. We had the Snake Bitten which we divided between 4 of us, which was a little much especially if you have an appetizer before. The pulled pork was flavorful, the brisket was good but over sauced and the sausage was very good. We had the beans, Cole slaw, waffle fries and Buffalo chips. Buffalo chips were more of a kettle chip. The sides were great. The burgers were great and the steak was cooked correctly. My wife had the half nachos which are made using the kettle chips, and all the usual nacho toppings plus brisket... She loved it but even a half was too much. It was a great meal that we followed with the moonshine, an interesting flavor that some enjoyed and others didn't. Needless to say I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a great place to eat with full serving sizes.

My first visit to the Snake Pit & it was super busy. We had cocktails because the wine selection wasn't impressive (that was ok). The food was tasty. My date had fish & chips & it was more than he could eat. My butterflied shrimp was excellent. Nice sized shrimp with just enough breading crispy & not greasy. A good all around American vibe. Our server struggled a bit tome wise, but was friendly & helpful. I would stop back in definitely

Awesome establishment. Wait staff neat folks and entertaining to say the least. Knowledgeable about local area and the history of the building. There is a place above the bar where your money and signature may live forever. Food was hot and timely. Taste was down right good. Coffee was bold, hot and perked ya up. Walk the perimeter if you have time. All sorts of plant life even the mysterious Mountain Blueberry 🫐 you can find if you have a keen enough eye. If you like hand made furniture, giant wood burl art or the likes you are in for a real treat. Check the outhouse for snakes before you open the lid! Friendly word of caution. Lol

It's 21.95 , but right now it's not running you can get the deep fried plater with all you can eat or the crawfish bowl also for 21.95.
Kellogg has 3 and is the closest and then Wallace has I think 4 but that is about 20mins away. Nothing in smelterville for 15 years
None whatsoever. It was quite refreshing.
Don't know if they actually have a happy hour.but it's always a happy place to be.
They're open. You just may need to be creative getting there, depending if the freeway offramp is open or closed (with bridge construction).
We serve breakfast 7 days/week May through September, and Fri/Sat/Sun from October to April. We will have a breakfast buffet running from Mother's Day through Labor Day on Saturdays and Sundays. In my ever-so-humble opinion, our corned beef hash - made fresh with house-smoked corned beef - is the best around!
As long as you want to celebrate this birthday AND next birthday :-( It took 1/2 to take a drink order, 1/2 more to take a food order, and an hour from our food order to get both of the orders! Good luck!
New for the summer: Louisiana Shrimp Boil, Crawfish w/lemongrass, Southern fried catfish, oysters, clams, butterflies shrimp, hush-puppies, Mac 'n cheese and a vegatable medley.
