I loved everything about this place! The staff was amazing and caring and kind. I went to adopt my fur baby and it wasn't loud, it was clean and neat. I decided to adopt a kitten (BB)which he is the sweetest and loving little thing I love to have! Thank you so much!! 100% recommend this animal shelter!

We adopted a 16 year old cat named Charlotte a few weeks back and the staff were great at the shelter. They answered any questions we had and the volunteers seemed caring and knowledgeable.

Got my new sweet boy from there! Only 4 stars because they failed to tell us that he was sprayed by a skunk recently so we have been fighting with that but we adore him so it all worked out.

We adopted our kitten from CHA last month & we are so in love. The adoption process was so smooth and the volunteers & staff do such a great job! Tofu (formerly White Lightning) has settled into his new home so quickly. We can't imagine life without him. ❤

Yes we take kittens you would have to contact the shelter for more information
Yes, they do
I dont think they do help with food, this place is for adoption only
I would call Citizens for Humane Action, Cat Welfare, and Colony Cats. All have a website. I'm not sure, but I think the Delaware Co Humane Society might help. Best time to call Cat Welfare is early on Monday.
Hi Danny, thanks for thinking of us! This webpage lists all the items we take and those we can't take. https://www.chaanimalshelter.org/food-and-supplies/
They should provide a leash but you would have to get a crate elsewhere. That's a good question.
CHA's website should have all the information you need. They are a great organization that cares about the fur babies. We adopted an older dog and she is an absolute gem. Maybe think about an older dog and give them lots of love and they have lots of love to give..
It is normally $80 to adopt a cat or kitten but until July 1st it is only $5. I believe a dog 6 months or younger is $300 and adult dogs are $150.
