Before COVID hit would get to the breakfast buffet at least once a week. The food and service was outstanding. Went last week for the first time. The food is still excellent (scrambled eggs, bacon, biscuits among many other items are great). My server brought a thermal carafe of coffee (will never understand why other restaurants don't do this). My only surprise was the bill. For the buffet and coffee including tax was $18.62. Mighty high cost.

Every time we order from here we always wonder why we did lol good is never right. I ordered a coconut cream pie and basically got a whipped cream pie, keep in mind the part does include the crust. Lol

First off, manager was no where to be found. 2 servers on the floor...who by the way did a great job considering they had zero support. I was so impressed with the young man who was also the cook. He jumped out front with the bus cart and starting bussing tables. I spoke with him as he was doing so, his name is Alex. I asked Alex about his job and what he hoped to be doing in the future and this young man told me he would like to be a manager someday. In my opinion this young man is well on his way. Actually probably more qualified than Helen ( the manager on duty at that time) I was a manager for many years....actually started waiting tables at Frischs back in the 80's and went from there. (At a different restaurant) I told Alex all of this and how a good manager is all over the restaurant when needed...cooking, dishes, hostess, bus person, or drive thru. He said he enjoyed his job and he was very kind. Just an amazing attitude. Thank you Alex for who you are. Oh and on another note, for those who don't know, salad bar is $12.99 by itself or 8.99 plus the cost of an entree. Salad bar was not fresh.

I ordered some Nathans through door dash. Picked it up even though they don't offer pick on door dash. Let me tell you this was the nastiest food I've had all year. I ordered Two Philly steaks, a coney dog, and two cheese fries. All over it was terrible. The fries were burnt and soggy at the same time. The Philly Steaks subs weren't even edible. I've eaten at Nathans in New Jersey several times and it was consistently good. This was a disgrace to the name. Oh and Door Dash only gave a $12 credit of the $43 I spent. Never, Eva, Eva again!
