I had set a appointment a for Friday jan 3 for 12pm. I set the appointment a week in advance and requested for the manger to do it.. Jan 3 finally approach, i made it at the shop at 11:50 waiting on Steve. 40 minutes passed by and he was no where to be found. He was constantly calling the shop trying to pass me to someone else but the service i wanted noone knew how to do it. So finally at 12:40 this man calls back to the shopand all to speak to me. Telling me i didn't schedule the appointment with himand he will not bye coming in until 3:30pm.i explain to him that my birthday was on jan 4th. He didn't care. He asked me to come back at three thirty but i had some plans. I call the number to to complain. They give me ten percent off and direct me to the next location. I understood the girl was book, but another problem accrued as i arrived. She didnt have the foam. I need so i called the white hall location back because i knew he had the foam i need. I come back the man combs my hair ruff. Mind u im very natural with 4c hair. He washes my hair and apply the foam but whe he uses the foam he used it like he was greasing my hair.. I explained to him i need him to lather my hair with the foam. He didnt put none on my hair until i explain to him my hair isvery course . i told him my tight curls is suppose to fall. As soo as he put the foam in he want to blow dry my hair. I explained to him its suppose to sit for 45 minutes. He get a bag n let it sit for 30 minutes. Come back and blow dry my hair on warm.. I hair my hair cracking because it was brittle. He uses the smallest comb at that.. He started parting my hair in big chumps to flat iron.. I was getting upset because all i wanted was my hair to be right for my birthday. So i asked him can i blow dry my hair since he did want to do it right. Ii told him he was suppose to blow dry it on high . hee going to say that's not what three instructions say. Everytime i explain how something is suppose to go he say. Its not in the instruction or Its not to my exploration. I explain to himagain i just want my hair done right for my birthday. I don't wantto go outside and my hair frizz up.. He going to tell me do i want to use my cosmetically licences. When he said that i got out the chair. I thing this shop is very unprofessional. Its the worse experience i ever recievend. I would never recommend this shop to anyone. Not even my worse enemy.. I think this shop need a new manager. If i could leave negative stars i would. I had came back for nothing..

Prices went way up. Ridiculous prices, how are you supposed to leave a tip for the hairdresser or barbers when hair cuts and salon prices are so expensive. If these prices continue, you will be out of business. Trust me. Or either no client will show. Lot of elderly can't afford these prices. Shame on the owner.

Don't. Just don't. I made an appointment for 12pm, arrived early and by 2:30 i walked out, hair still undone. I sat there for two and a half hours and didn't get anything but an extra $20 tacked on to what would have been my bill because my hair was "dreaded" and would have to be taken down. Excuse me?? My hair IS NOT and has never been in dreads! What kind of African American hair stylist has never seen a braidout before? It's a simple matter of a paddle brush or wide tootbed comb to detangle hair that's been in a braidout! You can pull it apart with your fingers for cryin out loud! The stylists that work here are unprofessional and do NOT have enough knowledge to work on natural hair. Have not been back and tell everyone I know not to come here. Awful.
