My wife and I filed for EBT a couple months ago and our social worker has refused to help us. She keeps asking awkward questions about our transition, denying our application over and over, and has made it clear that she hates trans people. She's also criticized my wife and I for marrying each other and not marrying men. She keeps asking for us to "prove" we really transitioned, despite us showing her court documents, medical papers, updated IDs, and updated social security numbers numerous times.... If you're trans, there is absolutely no help for you whatsever, as Oakland (and the rest of the Bay for that matter) HATE trans people.....

Numbers are mis directed. Can't get anyone on phone, went to the office at enterprise, it seems as if your not equipping people to Help. I get wait it's not processed, paper work not getting delivered to right department, it's a mess. If I were an immigrant I would get anything I needed without question I worked most of my life supporting those who needed this help . Now I need it and I get the run around, cut off like a dog left to starve. My disabled Vietnam Veteran husband has to worry about how ends will meet you should all have to walk in the shoes if someone in real need. Maybe you will fix this broken down system to help especially in a Pandemic.
God Bless
I want to give zero on the workers here. Honestly the workers here most are rude and not helpful they dont listen to there clients so they can understand them and they are giving different information. The workers here is not like the workers in San Mateo county, the workers in San Mateo are so humble, friendly and helpful in there clients they did not raised their voice to there clients and find way how they can help their clients They listen to their clients that is why they can give the right and same information. Since I was making a calls ,only the workers here in Alameda county raised their voice to me and this is the first time I made a post publicly because I was so disappointed on the attitudes of the workers here. It was the worst experience i have. It was so sad that there are public workers like them. I know they are intelligence but they need to learn to be humble and helpful to their clients. They are on that position to help the people not to raised there voice on the clients that was seeking help and information.

He can call the police for a civil standby officer to make you honor child support order
OK thank you both...I figured it out. I appreciate it.☮
Go to the office on San Pablo and you can get a pacjet and a appointment. Trust me . I know. I don't do nothing online when it comes to county business, especially signing up.
Not with social services. Try the health department
can actually do it on their website
When you do a county to county transfer or an out of state transfer your benefits don't stop. They get picked up from new county. You are not to do the transfer the worker is and sorry to say lots of fraud takes place during this process on the part of the county so yha dont sound right.
It's just the one listed number, follow the prompts and be patient. It's mostly automated, but it's possible to get someone on the phone.
