Have neighbors above us that are always jumping the ceiling feels like it is coming down. This goes on every day till around 11:00 PM. Have complained at least two times a week for the last two months. Management still hasn’t done a thing about it.

Staff can be very rude, will hang up when you call. Take pictures when you leave because they lie & make up stuff to charge you for definitely they carpet, my apartment stayed clean animal free & they tried to charge me for carpet and said it had animal Urine on it. As you can see my house stayed clean never dirty

BEWARE; Deer Run is not as nice as it looks on the surface. We lived there 6 years. We were very excited by the picturesque looking complex when we first moved in. Over time though we found the poor management severely undermined the experience. We had neighbors hoarding parking spots with patio chairs, and loud upstairs neighbors who in addition to loud music, also let their dog go to the bathroom on their patio, which dripped down into ours. Management did nothing. Our living room flooded almost yearly due to a very poor AC draining set up. At one point we were without carpet in the living room, just cold & dirty exposed concrete underneath, for an entire month. Management did nothing. No discount. No apology. No new carpeting. They neglected the carpet after each flood, and when we left...WE got a $500+ bill to replace that old carpet they should have replaced anyways. Then there was the time the lobby doors trapped our two small children in the lobby. My wife was cleaning off the snowy car while the kids waited in the warm lobby while still in eyesight of her. The door knob broke and since the other door required her key, they were trapped. It was before office hours, so her father came over with his tools to free them. When we notified the office...I'm sure you can guess it by now...NOTHING. No apology. In hindsight one of our great regrets is that we didn't just call 911, and let the firemen destroy their damn door with an axe. Also so that Deer Run's firetrap would have been exposed. The office staff was routinely curt, rude, and apathetic once we signed in. We're not the "I want to speak to the manager" types, and took way more neglect & poor service from them than we should have. I also had about six weeks without the microwave which belonged to them. SIX WEEKS...in an age when Amazon could have had it there in days. No apologies for the delay, no estimate on when or if it would arrive whenever we asked. Believe it or not, I actually could go on further...maybe about the time they damaged my desk, or knocked the driver side mirror of my car off, or had a Christmas present of mine taken from the mail into their office for 8 months before they told me, but I think you get the idea. It looks like a very nice little slice of suburban paradise, but its extremely apathetic management keep it from being any place I'd ever recommend.

Management is extremely rude. Will try to rob you when you leave regardless of how long your stay was or how well you maintained the apartment. Thin walls. Kitchen outdated. Horrible pet policy. Rent goes up yearly. Parking lot never cleared in the winter. Horrible place all around. If I were you I would avoid at all cost!
