I like hiking and mountain biking here. However there isn’t much shade in trail. Please make sure you bring enough water in summer.

Glider trail. Supposed to be 'moderate' hike. Very steep in places and rocks abound. Good either day and plenty of time needed.

Cool hike with lots of paths, not much shade so go on a cool day. Good for exercise as well as nature spotting. Rewarding views at the top and a nice breeze.

Great little short hike to take the dog or to go with the family. Really short but nice enjoyable hike. Not too hard. Not too easy. I’d recommend it. Plenty of parking before you start the trail too.

Questions & Answers

Hi, I lost a fixed wing remote glider in the low area of the park. Color is Black with yellow graphics. If found, please contact me. Will reward who ever finds in $500. It was lost April 16. Thank you kindly.

Hi Steve, I run around that park two or three times a week, do you think you could describe specifically which region you think it went down in so we can keep an eye out? Near what road or parking lot?

Is this area good for running?

Anywhere here to take my young son? He can't hike, we just want to picnic and be amidst nature.

I agree about the space near Hilltop park, but PQ canyon probably better. Go to Penasquitos Park trailhead @Camino Del Sur and walk 1.5 mile west to the waterfall. If you just want to drive into nature, maybe Mt. Laguna
