Nice beach with restrooms. There are lifeguards in duty and waves are good for body boarding and surfing. Only thing I didn't like it is there are way too many sea weeds and parking could be hard to find.

It super super weird that you call it palisade Park I don't think in my whole entire life I've ever heard it called that/law Street is what the locals or if you're giving somebody directions you know Wilbur cuz that kind of stands out but that needs to be rectified cuz nobody says that it was a gorgeous day the breeze was a little chilly but I had a wet suit that I hadn't had in the water yet so I took it out and it was weird but the water was freezing so I feel like I would do better without the one suit but I cannot wait to be in the water but I do feel like I'm not quite as white as I was so all around it was a great day I went to work and then I went to the beach so 🤷🏼‍♀️🌸🌊💯 I have no problem if a old timer corrects me on the name! I don't chill on the hump of grass! I'm there to be in the water 🤙🏽

Best place for relaxation, good vibes, and sunset views. Located at the southern end of the Mt. Soledad foothills, it overlooks the Tourmaline park to the north, and the crystal pier to the south. The area is a popular surf spot, so you can watch the surfers. Many ways to access the beach. From here you can see the curving coastline of beach condos, all the way to the foothills in the Ocean Beach neighborhood.

Very busy when I went but it is a beautiful beach. Maybe I just went during a busy time. As long as you avoid weekends and go earlier to grab a good spot it's a good beach to chill at. There is a great spot to relax and sit at with grass and tables at the top of the hill by the beach too. Solid place 👌
