Really beautiful area of the park but the bathroom is disgusting you can smell it a dozen paces away

The picnic table were kinda dirty from the homeless that stay there over night, and the playground equipment them selves were very hot for my kids, they were literally playing underneath everything. But they had a good time when they weren't too hot. Go early in the AM before the sun gets to hot recommeneded.

Cute playground right by Balboa Park. I'm not a huge fan of sand at parks, I wish the whole play area had the rubber flooring. Plenty of swings and slides so my little one was happy. The parking lot is pretty big and there's nice grassy areas around. Bathrooms too but I don't know how clean they are because we didn't use it.

Great playground. Wish the surrounding trails were more “official.” We walked down one but it just sorta petered out. Maybe not supposed to be trails. Kids loved this playground and many different things to climb on.
