Store is clean, full stocked ,and things are in order. Each section is well taken care of. The hot tamales in the food section are very good. Of course prices have gone up, 2 tamales go for 5dls including tax. Registers are tended right. There is always a cashier on stand by if like gets long to pay, that's the best part. Their bathroom is in service. It's a big plus for me.

This spots a gem. Way better than the other Northgates and the shopping center isn't as bad as you would think. Still expensive AF, but if you want a reasonably safe spot, this is it.

Simple Mexican supermarket.. great selections, friendly staff, and tons of great quality meats. Definitely a good spot to go shopping! Would recommend to locals and tourists alike!

Disgusting and very disappointing. I ordered the Costillas en Salsa Roja (pork ribs in red chili). $9 + tax. The rice was tasty, the beans were flavorless, but even worse were the pork ribs!! They were not cooked thoroughly, they were actually raw!! You have to cook pork really good because of the parasites. The meat was red, raw!! I spit the meat out, threw it in the garbage and left. Basically, I paid $9 for the rice. And, there was an old meat bone sitting between the wood at the eating table were I sat! $9 is a bit extreme for rice, beans and four pieces of meat with bones -- don't you think? Especially if you are not the least bit concerned that they are cooked properly. Pictures attached. Be warned!
