I have been going to Hill country for 20 years. Unfortunately over the last couple of years the reliability and bed side manner has been lost in these offices. Most recently I had scheduled four appointments for dental cleanings. The hygienist I was scheduled with canceled my first appointment only a couple of days before. I understood to a point because they went to cover for another hygienist at the redding clinic. Today I got another call that my second appointment in a week from now would have to be canceled or rescheduled again. I have a job where I have to request any days off at least 3 weeks prior (pretty standard).I have no idea how an office can be so unreliable and expect their patients to stay with them. I understand these are hard times but this is just ridiculous and I will not be going back to an office that can be so inconsiderate and unreliable.

After leaving the dental clinic it took maybe 10 minutes for my temporary crown to fall off driving home. I immediately left a message for a call back. It was a late appointment and the clinic was closed. Realize, I was told to call if that temporary fell off. They didn't have much faith in it either . I called again the next morning at 8:00 leaving a message to please call. I had tooth pain where the root canal was suppose to be plus had lost the temp. I realized that Wednesday the clinic had a meeting until 10;00 am. i called again a little after 10:00 and left another message. it was getting late in the day, I live 45 minutes from the clinic. I called and left another message. Finally, I had it. I called and left a message to cancel the crown they may have ordered and that I wouldn't be coming back. I even called the main health clinic to make sure the dental dept was staffed that day and they didn't answer their phone either! I went to another dentist. When I got home I saw that they left a message for me late in the afternoon, only because I was so mad at my last message.

I've been calling the dental office every couple days for over a month and I am still un-able to get an appointment. I call exactly when they tell me too twice a week. (They dont have any full time dentist here) I'm going to have to change dentists now so I can actually see a dentist. This place is so un-organized and impossible to get into. They pulled my tooth months ago and I have to keep walking around looking like a crackhead because I cant even get an appointment for a filling that I need to be able to get an appointment to replace the tooth. I'm so angry and frustrated at how poorly ran this place is. I would really avoid choosing this place as your dental office if you have a choice. The medical office is great though.

An absolute terrible experience, we were told to be there at 9:30 we arrived at 9:10 checked in and were told the doctor would be right with us, we were not seen until 11:00. And on top of having to wait nearly 2 hours, the dentist Chris nelson was absolutely clueless. He had no knowledge of children's dentistry. Literally all he did was put a mirror in my daughters mouth and told us she has cavities.
