Beyer Deli is our favorite lunch destination. Their sandwiches are the best, but Dina & Michael (the owners) are such wonderful people. They have created a friendly and family setting and I’m always amazed watching them great their customers when they walk into their deli. They treat people as family, not customers. I recommend Beyer Deli to everyone and enjoyed another wonderful lunch there today.

Beyer Deli is an incredible sandwich shop in San Ysidro, CA, just moments away from the U.S.-Mexico border crossing. The owner is a wonderful woman with a lot of heart and cheer. They always use the freshest ingredients and their sandwiches are perfectly balanced. They have a large selection of chips and drinks as well. I love the turkey and swiss on rye. I have to point out that this deli is cash only, and further remark that I once stopped in without cash on me after crossing the border. I was extremely hungry. The owner gave me a sandwich and water bottle at no cost in good faith that I repay her. I came back a week later and paid her for the sandwich. You’ve got to try Beyer Deli as soon as you can! Just make sure to bring some cash with you!

Great place to get a sandwich! Large deli style sandwiches and they were great. We came in military uniform and they hooked us up. This place is a must hit place!
