Usually my go to place to Chinese food in Crofton, but did they raise the prices? I picked up an order today and was charged almost $1 over the menu price for each meal. No explanation, and no receipt was given. I understand inflation, but an increase in price compared to the portion sizes is questionable. The food is always great, I've never had an issue. I still occasionally order from here, but not as often as I used to.

I have to agree with the previous review. Prices went up on our regular delivery order by $16.00 (!!!) but the amount of meat was AT LEAST half than it was before. During this Biden inflation, either charge the old price for less meat or charge the new price for the same amount of meat as before. Can’t have it both ways and expect people to continue to order. I’m disappointed because I liked their food but won’t be ordering again.

Ordered food from here tonight like we have every Christmas Eve for as long as I can remember. We placed our order through Beyond Menu, as we’ve done before without any issue. We get there and waited in line for 20 minutes. 40 minutes after our pick up time, we finally get up to the counter. They immediately charged us for the food before telling us that they hadn’t even started making it. Their excuse was they got so busy they just stopped paying attention to the online orders. I completely understand being slammed as it is a holiday, but to keep your online ordering open and just never check those orders because you’re busy seems ridiculous. There were multiple people stuck waiting for food they ordered online to be made way after their scheduled pick up time. Incredibly upsetting that our Christmas Eve tradition got messed up because they stopped paying attention to online orders. Will definitely be rethinking our go-to Chinese spot.

In the past this place was great. But over the past year the restaurant has taken a major dive in quality and service. Just tonight they messed up my order and Wouldnt listen to me explaining what they had messed up. But when it finally was resolved it took them more than an hour to deliver the correction. When delivered the rest of the family was done eating. This is our last time for this local spot.

Hunan Express went above and beyond early in the pandemic. They completely sealed off their counter to separate you from the clerk (she speaks through a microphone like a box office). They ensure everyone remains 6 feet apart in line while they wait, even if it makes the line go outside. They still have hand sanitizer and sanitized pens.
