Awful and a scam. Buyer BEWARE!!! I have been renting two spaces for three months now. On the fourth month they increased my rates by over 25%. When I contacted the support to inquire about the exorbitant rate increase they said, 1) corporate adjusts rates periodically per my rental agreement - no where do I note a limit to their rate increase so shame on me - and 2) if I wanted, they (Public Storage) would help me find a cheaper space.... pretty sure that it is in a worse building, smaller, in a different location, etc. Potential neighbor, please BEWARE, if you are out of the area and storing your belongings, you are at their rate mercy. If you are a business, you cannot control your costs and will spend time and effort with these scam artists fixing the problem. The $1 first month brings you in the door but then you are at Public Storage's corporate 'mercy'. A 3-5% rate increase is reasonable (similar to any rental), but 25%? I highly recommend that finding a storage company with better business ethics and customer service. The 5* ratings seen on these postings are scams and paid advertisements in this dirty, dirty industry.
