I somehow misunderstood what this place was and it was not what I expected at all… in the *best* possible way. We called an hour in advance to order our cooked lobsters as I’d read in another review, and pulled up at our planned time expecting a restaurant with tables and like plates and silverware. That is not what we discovered! Instead, we sat on the wall overlooking the river and ate, with our hands, the best lobster I’ve ever had anywhere ever. Good god this food was incredible. The experience was so quirky and unexpected and will be one of those meals that I will remember for the rest of my life. We’ve gone to a bunch of the tourist trap restaurants and ordered their super expensive lobster rolls and have honestly felt pretty meh about all of them. This one was super affordable ($31 for two cooked lobsters) and the quality was out of this world. I will be back!

Bought 3 1lb chicklets at $7.75 each and they cooked them for another $1.50. Absolutely delish and reasonably priced.

Found this dockside. Got 2 dozen steamers ($16) & bakers dozen of 13 lobstahs ($94). Cooked for ($6). We pigged out for the whole weekend! CASH ONLY!

Real friendly staff who patiently explained different types of lobsters. Price very good compared to Acadia national park, which is my only reference. We picked up some freshly cooked lobsters on our way and enjoyed at a highway rest area. Loved it! It is cash only so make sure you got cash.
