The Heathman Lodge exceeded our expectations for a three star hotel. The lobby and hotel rooms were much nicer than the average hotel. The aesthetics were appealing. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The restaurant food was great. The hotel was more eco-friendly than most. We will definitely be staying here every time we stay in the Vancouver area.

Hotel is very visually appealing.The girl at the front desk, who was training for the job, was very friendly she’s going to be a great asset to the hotel. I loved the nature sounds in the halls. I gave this a 3 rating rather than a 4 only because the beds in our room were so uncomfortable. All they need is a quick fix of adding a pillow top to the mattress. And the server at the Heathman Hudson’s Grill was so vivacious, witty, energetic and friendly and right on top of everything.

We stayed in a dog friendly ground floor room. Best . . . dog . . . friendly . . . room ever! Room was a good size. While everything was easy to clean surfaces such as non-carpet, it didn't feel cheaply done like many hotels we've stayed at. Beds were VERY comfortable and our room was quiet. We will definitely stay again the next time we are going to/through the area!

Positive: Best part was the lighting in the room. There was plenty of light. Normally hotels have a couple lamps and it¿s always dark. The room was big and we had a balcony. In a great location and I felt safe. Highly recommend and would definitely come back. Negative: The front desk staff could¿ve been a bit friendlier and more knowledgeable.
