This is a place we're I can come and visit with my brother rick,Rick, have a peaceful visit with him. Very well groomed cemetery. Thank you all of the southern maine veterans cemetery employees,for your hard work. It really shows.

This is a great establishment they really made it about the family! VERY nice and polite people ! We went to visit our mother and they were doing something and they stopped what they were doing and they said that they would come back later to finish up that they would let us visit our loved one . Thank you for being so considerate to us and our family , we really appreciate it !

Does the cemetery management allow placement of flowers on a veteran's grave?

Only real flowers no artificial flower or plants are authorized. There is a copy of the flower policy in the vestibule in the administration building. Thank you for contacting us.

My husband is a Veteran and I was wondering if I can be buried with him...are all burials for cremains or can a full casket be buried?? do we have to pre-register?/
