We showed up today to take Amtrak and we didn’t get the Amtrak email with our reservation number or anything. The gentleman on duty today showed how to retrieve our reservation and print tickets on the Amtrak kiosk. This was our first time taking Amtrak and he was very helpful. The station is extremely clean and very nice. The station reminds me a time long ago.

Great place. I am a railfan and I live in wells. So using the schedules from the train station I can see when the train will arrive. Apart from that the train station itself and the people are nice.

No paid staff, only volunteers, they are literally solicating/exploiting elderly retired people to volunteer their time to give people travel advice they can’t pay someone to do this how sad?, Icey walkways and confusing parking area Which would actually cause-hazards to the people they wanna bring to this area very disappointing.

I don't know if it's official, but plenty of people park in the back lot for days at a time.
Your best bet is to take the Amtrak downeaster from Wells to the Boston station then figure it out from there.
You can get a bus straight to Lowell, would be much cheaper and you could probably find one that doesn't go to Boston first. I would rent a car.
Southbound 682 and northbound 681 and 683 are running, all others are cancelled.
