Perfection. It was our first time to Black Bear Diner and I think it’s our new local favorite. We enjoyed “The Grizz” breakfast with Swedish pancakes and they were heavenly. The hash browns were perfectly cut and cooked. If I had one recommendation it would be to make the bacon crisp. When it’s too soft it’s chewy : ( Everything was delicious from the coffee to the toast. The toast was actually the BEST I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Service was top notch. Our friendly server, David The Great One, didn’t miss a beat. He was prompt to greet us, served our food piping hot and didn’t overwhelm us by serving the main meal at the same time as the pancakes. The restaurant was warm, clean, welcoming and comfortable. Another server at the next table was able to accommodate his customers by speaking in their language and we just felt that the overall vibe was splendid. I told my daughter that it felt a lot like waking up in the morning and going downstairs to your warm kitchen and having a perfect breakfast served. She agreed.

It’s a busy place. Their food were yum and they have a big serving. Make sure to order their blackberry bear claw and fried chicken it’s soo good! I took off 1 star coz they don’t follow the instructions you gave them for take out, specifically said to put gravy on the side but they put it on the mashed potato. They gave us a pancake without a syrup.(who can eat that?) anyways, it’s a good place for grub.

Waiter was attentive and happily friendly and Family Ordered Jos Hobo omelette with country potatoes and a Ginormous burger with fries. Omelette was cheesy and tasty and country potatoes were tasty yet not heated at hot temp. Love the cozy cabin look & bear deco which makes you feel your in Alaska🖤🐻

Yes 😊
Everyone that I saw working had a mask on. Including the cooks.
I would call your local Fred Meyer. They recalled frozen berries in NY so I'm not sure how wide spread this might be .
