I rented a car December 26th, had a passenger, when I realized I couldn't continue the trip I called the gentleman that runs this Avis and had my passenger added as an authorized driver, Thank god I wasn't in the car the passenger side was pulled under the back of a semi and my passenger (now the driver) walked away with a fractured spine. I was told not to worry I had insurance then I get a call 5 months later there's a claim against me for breech of contract claiming I never added another driver. Luckily I had proof and it was over turned but how many people have gotten screwed because they didn't keep that information on hand after months of being told not to worry? Thank god for the customer service rep at Sedgwick she was so helpful, but I'm disgusted someone tried to get away with this I won't ever rent from this location again.

The car was reserved for a specific time but they were not there with a car. I had to call to get someone to bring me the car. The car reeked of cigarettes. They tried to cover it with cheap perfume and a lot of it. It made it worse and I still have a headache. Perfume does not cover the smell of cigarettes. I had to drive around the whole time with the window down to try to air it out. This alone would be a reason I wouldn't rent from them again. It was not the type of car I reserved. And the check engine light was on. Don't rent out a car with a check engine light on regardless of the reason it is on I travel a lot and I cannot remember the last time there was a mileage limit. Here it is 250 miles. When I looked to reserve it is the rental car agency that claims to be at the airport. I don't think they are. There's certainly no counter, etc. Definitely misleading. Pros: Owners are very friendly.
