For a normal cook interested in expanding their cookbook selection, this place is a gem; for a collector or historian, there is even more merit. A large space in one of Biddeford's mill buildings packed full to the brim with cookbooks and food writing. On any culinary genre or food topic, you're sure to find find the classics you may have heard of, as well as countless others. I expressed some interest in a particular topic to the owner and he was very generous with his time, and kindly recommended several books by different authors. He spoke at length about the merits of various books and all were offered at a fair price.
