This was one of the most beautiful camp sites I've ever been too. Can't wait to explore here more. Road was a bit skinny and rough.

I took the family here thinking it was a good idea, it was a very long rocky dirt road up the mountain and back down the mountain to the campsite where there are 2 parking areas both of which you can barely turn around in, had to back out to a spot where I could turn around. The campground was completely filled(packed) and we had to go home instead of camp. I do not recommend this campsite for a family unless absolutely no one else is there but there are barely any signs and no full campground sign at the beginning of the drive so the only way to know is to drive there and find out. I would recommend this lake for a group of guys fishing or a younger crowd that can hike

After a long run on Trail 82 a dip in the lake was just the thing! The water was crystal clear, and the few people there were really relaxed. For a place this far north and at 3000 feet, the water was surprisingly warm. The Mineral Point trail has no access to the water (sheer drops at all the lookouts), so driving back down the road and backtracking a little to the campground is a must.

No, but all sites are between 20-100 yards of parking.
They are open
Yes, dogs are allowed. State law requires them to be on a leash or tied up, so consider that if you bring your 4 legged friend.
No place to park the boat, however it is a beautiful campground with many canp areas
There isn't a fee.
No
Road is great. Haven't had wasp problems, but you never know...
