One of the best kept "secrets" for State Parks in NH! Clear, warm water and very kind friendly with an abundance of shallow water. Beautiful scenery, picnic areas and shade but get there early...it will fill up to capacity.

Lake is little small but good enough for the number of people that are present on a weekend. The beach is clean and well maintained. The change room and restrooms could be better. There are two hikes and both are challenging.

February visit, with daughter and her friend. We have been multiple times during the year. Review is this specific time. After a very warm day two days earlier, than a quick freeze... it. Was. ICY !!! Girls wore microspikes, we only had 2 pairs with us, so I went without. Wrong. Spikes were absolutely needed. If possible please check overall conditions before going out. That being said, absolutely a beautiful hike with views of the Ledge in front of you the whole time. We were lucky to some people ice fishing at the same time we were there.

can not recommend enough for the North Conway area. I've gone at every time of year now and it's just beautiful. The color of the water is insane and beautiful and is great to swim in. Small, so it stays relatively warm. No motor boats, so it's safe, too. I'll be bringing my kayak next time! There's awesome trails I've yet to explore that will take you up the mountain that the lake frames. In the winter you can walk out on the lake, I've seen snowmen built pretty far out! There are bathrooms & changing rooms that are usually locked when I'm there, picnic tables too. You can walk around the entire pond and there are SO many tadpoles in the spring!!

I think they charged like around $4 per person but not exactly parking fees.
What everyone said, no boat launch but canoes, kayaks, paddle boards, and floaties are good to go! Awesome quiet little lake.
Should be able to, maybe not the ones directly on the beach but I'm pretty sure the park is wheelchair accessible.
I dont believe so
It's a sand beach, pretty level and is a beautiful place to visit! If you are in a wheelchair I don't know how well it would work on the beach itself, but there are picnic tables above the beach about 20 feet from the water. The view is breathtaking from the picnic tables and I'm sure you would enjoy this beautiful place to visit! Good luck on your trip!
Gate is closed and locked. Limited roadside parking exists outside the gate.
Ages 12 and up is $4. Ages 6 to 11 is $2. 5 and under is free. No dogs allowed in the main portion of the park, lake or picnic area. Dog friendly trails are off Cathedral Ledge Rd at 2nd kiosk on left. Bryce Link to Whitehorse Ledge Trail or to Bryce Path to towards Cathedral Ledge only.
There was a few f them, when i went. But i went in the summer time.
If you're up for a hike, the access road closes in the winter via large metal gate. But totally worth it, though I'm a bigger fan of sun rises.
Yes but you will see sunset behind mountain
I agree with Ralph.
