actually the worst experience i’ve had working anywhere doing anything. i was hired on to do landscaping and hard scape. never did that because they’re so behind that that still haven’t even gotten to do weeding and cleanup on some places half way into july. that’s not the bad stuff. they have a dinosaur era way to clock in and out. you’ll have to do math for it and its excessive. lastly. most of the good reviews for this place are from the head foreman, JUSTIN BROWN… he is a 47 year old man from ellsworth. pretty sure he’s lived here all his life. but anyways… he is not a nice person who tried to attack me on job because i said “good morning” a few times when he hadn’t talked to me in over two days straight. he is technically my boss but not the owner, and to throw me on a job by myself when i hadn’t worked even 2 weeks and not say anything to me for daysss straight it not how you do that…he is not very smart other then just his work, but he is good at it. he also is very childish and took a couple hours to yell at me and name call but more so disturb the entire surry garden property while people are in there shopping… during the disturbance the head forman actually tried to quit his job because of me saying goodmorning…….after he tried attacking me. i never found out why he was so upset and bothered. i don’t think he did either but i then quit my job. head forman JUSTIN BROWN not a decent/ high IQ person. :)

Great selection of plants. However, beware if you're considering getting a job here. The owner is a piece of work. A former employee's final paycheck went missing, and instead of taking care of it for her like an employer should, he has been acting extremely unprofessional. He blames her for it and has been saying that her attempts to legally get what's rightfully hers is making HIM look bad. This can't be the first time in this company's history that a PAPER CHECK has gone missing.

This is my favorite greenhouse to go to in the summer I have been going there every season since I was a young child with my mother and grandmother they have the best assortment of plants perennials and annuals anything you could want trees and shrubs too they cater to whatever your needs are the employees are very knowledgeable and helpful with making decisions for color and blooming times these people know their stuff!!!!😍🥰
