The prices went up while the food and service went down hill. I will never go back to this place. The Rangoons tasted old and the dishes were crazy over salted. My BP went up over 200 from eating that garbage. The food was bland at best which, is probably why they covered it in salt. Our server had to be flagged down after we sat there waiting for her for 5 minutes after first getting there. She stood there talking to another server until my husband finally got her attention by waving his hands in the air. When she finally came over, it was obvious we had bothered her. She didn’t even ask us about drinks or appetizers. She just stood there looking at us until my husband finally said “Can we get some drinks and appetizers?” Maybe this was her first job….? Still didn’t explain the attitude. This visit was a complete waste of money and time. You’d be better off driving up to Bangor than wasting your money at this hole.

7/10 as my actual rating. The staff was great, they were quick, and the establishment was beautiful. The food was decent but not going to lie, for the price it was definitely not as good as I was expecting. The chicken and broccoli was mostly broccoli and sauce, the sesame chicken tasted a little overdone. Pretty good lo mein and eggs rolls.

I rarely went here, I found the food subpar. In recent years the quality of the food has absolutely skyrocketed. The sushi is very tasty and high quality. The other meals and appetizers are equally good. It has become my local go to for Asian cuisine. In regards to the sushi specifically, I always go to local Japanese or Chinese restaurants all over New England to taste their sushi, I have had some very high quality sushi, and this is my absolute go to in Ellsworth. Whether you are going with a family, for sushi or for more traditional Asian fare, I highly recommend China Hill. If you had asked me 2 years ago, I would have rated it a 1 star. Very very impressed.

The Buffet is worth every bite! Delicious food every time.
It's pricey, I believe weekends only, around $14 or $15 They do offer a salad bar with a few items with soup for much less, around $8.
Regular food items and even dessert items
