We purchased Mitsubishi Split A/C systemss from Home Depot and they are not an option I would recommend to anyone. We just had service performed for a unit that was not cooling. TCC (Total Climate Control) was the subcontractor Home Depot farmed it out to The repair guy arrived -- he actually didn't arrive -- I drove out to find him after seven hours of waiting and watching him sit on a nearby road for nearly an hour on the online map provided. We asked for a price estimate range and they would not provide one. It ended up costing over $1,000 for one of the units due to leaks and low level of refrigerant. We have done all maintenance and this is not the first repair. When they were under warranty, a repair cost over $500 to install the warranty part and we had to pay for exorbitant shipping costs (nearly $100) for the warranty part as well. If we were younger and physically able we would opt for portable or window units instaed of the Mitsubishi Home Depot combo.
