Not the same vets as when I first started going there, but they do still provide good care for our animals. Been with this office for 23 years . Miss Doc Hutchins, but they're professional, pleasant & effective. They provide very good safe distance care. Definitely recommend them.

We came here because Dr. Schuld is here now! He was our vet at a propr location so all of my kitties have been treated by him;) The customer service is great and they take every precaution against COVID as well. I had taken my kitty Winston to the ER vet 4 times in a month before seeing Dr. Schuld and he was still not feeling well but one visit with Dr. Schuld and he is not vomiting at all! Highly recommend. Thank you SMVC!

My beloved Goob was sick and the staff met me right away and his wonderful vet made him feel much better in no time.. Updated 09/11/20 I have been a loyal customer for over 15 years and have always been grateful for the caring Vets...I called today to see if they could squeeze Goob in for a visit because his eye is swollen and closed, I was worried if his eye was damaged.. This is what I was told, we are booked for the day because its his eye I would take him to an emergency vet. This was at 130 in the afternoon, I explained that I was a current client and just wanted to have his eye looked at and again was told to go to an emergency vet. Has this vet center become so busy they are unable to squeeze in a quick apt, since when does a receptionist make this kind of decision on who is seen and who is not. Extremely disappointed that Southern Maine Vetenary Clinic can only help the animals that have a scheduled appointment. I called another vet and at least the doctor called me back!
