Floors are dirty, beds have bugs and bug debris, beds are hard and old, pillows are also hard and old. The owner was a nice guy and pet friendly, but the room was kind of gross.

Made a reservation in advance for 2 days back to back. Showed up for my reservation and no one was there to check me in. I rang the bell and called the phone several times with no answer. I waited an hour before finally leaving and driving 2.5 hours to a friends house to sleep. I got a call several hours later from the manager saying "sorry for the mix-up I overslept but I'll be here to check you in tomorrow". Against better judgement I decided to keep my reservation for the following day thinking they would give me a discount or a free night for not being there the day before. Nope, charged me full price! Will never stay there again. The rooms are dirty and have mold all over the ceilings and smell musty. All round TERRIBLE experience.

Adorable room, very comfy. Very clean, and has that country small town appeal. Downside....NO INTERNET! welcome back to the 90s, however. If you are a hunter,camo curtains and comfy bed, win win. Traveling nurses, 650 a month. Microwave and mini fridge in room

The owners were super friendly, helpful, and offered a comfortable super affordable stay. The motel is a motel. It has clean rooms of pleasantly homey decor. No unpleasant odors. They offer some pet friendly rooms. If you aren't expecting a 5* hotel, but rather affordable pleasant lodging you will more than satisfied. There is air conditioning, heat, tv, mini fridge, microwave, coffee pot and coffee for the asking, clean bathrooms. Across the street from a historic covered bridge, a beautiful river across the street, some nice walking trails, just a couple miles to restaurants and stores. If you are a normal, average, reasonable person you will enjoy your experience here with these great folks. Home grown American family business. Support small family businesses. Support America.
