So, there must be at least 2 guys in this shop. The one I spoke with on the phone was upbeat and optimistic. "Bring it in," he said. So I did. The guy at the counter was skeptical and pessimistic. He said, "I have a trash bin you can throw it in." I think he was joking. After a little back and forth on the details, I left my Dyson vacuum in his hands. "I'll call you when it's done, next week," says he. Later that same day, I got a call from one of the gentlemen informing me it was repaired, but if I'd like it cleaned out and cleaned up for $25, I could pick it up, next day. So I went with that and picked it up the next day. I took it home to a house that hadn't been vacuumed in a week. It performed marvelously. I am very happy with my experience at Essex Vacuums. They were great. The repair was only $50 for a grand total of $75. For a Dyson! I recommend this business.

Very professional, trained & knowledgeable staff. As expected the repair times are on the long end during COVID but it's totally worth it for an honest repair establishment. They don't just do vacuums, but also most electrical appliances for the home. I brought them my 3 vintage lamps for base replacement/rewiring, which they did for $40 each. Will definitely be going back here! It took them about 2 months, so when I say slow I mean it, but keep in mind that I did not rush them or give a deadline so maybe if you need your job handled sooner rather than later they have the flexibility to accommodate if you ask.
