So I met with Kevin and had called him because i needed an apartment quickly. I was going through a divorce and I felt desperate about having no house and no place to live. Kevin helped me through all the steps of getting qualified and worked so hard to be sure I had a place to live. I KNOW I WOULD HAVE LOVED it, but my divorce took too long and other options opened up. I did lose my deposit pretty quickly of 250$ but I think just to know there were people at Pinegate Shawnee that cared so much and had compassion was worth it all. Thank you Kevin for your individual attention, the time you took with me and the concern you showed to a frightened woman in distress. I hope, if things don't work out for me with my house, I will still have a place at Pinegate shawnee.

The property has a great maintenance manager named Mike who is always quick to solve any problem that comes up. The pool and sauna are also a great features. It’s also pet friendly which is a plus

Lived here twice! My favorite apartment complex in all the places I lived in KC. Great location, great amenities, great price for the space! Love the vaulted ceilings and fireplaces. Garage space included has major value too.

I personally wouldn't recommend these apartments because of the following reasons: 1) do not get fooled by the model apartment. these are very very old apartments, you can literally hear the wooden flooring creek every time you walk which is annoying. make sure you see the actual apt you are suppose to move in. 2) its pricey for a small space. you could easily get another apartment which isn't this old for same price. 3) maintenance is good, but if the issue happens more than 2 times, they start charging you for the damage. i had issues with the garbage disposal as its pretty old, they said they are going to charge me. 4) the only plus point is the landscape and the lawn, they maintain it well. and pretty quite community. 5) people(food deliveries) can never find my apartment because its way too dark at night as there are no proper lights.
